Pramaana analyzes news articles across five structural dimensions instead of taking any single outlet's framing at face value: who owns and funds the source, whether claims are independently verifiable, how other outlets are covering the same story, how transparent the narrative choices are, and what context is missing. Every score is generated by Claude, moderated by a human before it enters the public dataset, and never edited after publication.
The project is open source and self-hostable. Run your own instance with your own API key, or contribute analyses to the shared dataset here.
